Pendle Hill and countryside
Sunday 8 July – meeting at Barley Car Park
Both the Burnely and Keighley Centres are requiring significant works to keep them functioning.
Brunside Mill has proved to be a great addition offering an oasis of peace in the centre of Burnley. It has proved to be a very popular location with its beautiful meditation rooms. To make the centre more comfortable we are fitting central heating and raising funds to cover ts costs. While the Centre in Keighley needs ongoing work on its listed building, this year repairing and maintaining windows and guttering.
Meeting at car park in Barley at 9am, we’ll then leave the village & climb Pendle Hill. Stopping at the summit to enjoy the beautiful views (if clear) then descending and looping via Oden Reservoir, woodland and back lanes before returning to Barley.
