Clear your mind, reduce the stress of daily life and tap into your own lasting source of inner peace. Unwind in the Yorkshire Dales with meditations for stress free living on this one day retreat.
A day retreat is an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings and have a special experience of inner peace.
During this retreat day we will explore meditations that enable us to overcoming stress, anxiety and other unpeaceful minds and instead to find greater peace of mind and inner happiness.
The cost of the day retreat is £30 (Centre Membership Scheme £20).
Lunch and refreshments are provided during the day retreat.
9am – 9.30am – Arrival and reception
9.30am – 10.45am – Session 1 guided meditation
11.45am – 1.00pm – Session 2 guided meditation
1pm – Lunch
3.15pm – 4.30pm – Session 3 guided meditation
4.30pm – 5.00pm – Windup and departure
The sessions will be guided by Gen Kelsang Paljin, Resident Teacher of Buddha Land and Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre who is appreciated for offering clear guidance on meditation and living a a positive life.

Bolton Abbey Village Hall is situated in the heart of Bolton Abbey, next to the village shop and post office, and 5 minutes walk from Bolton Abbey Priory Ruins.
The village hall benefits from its own car park with free parking for attendees to the retreat and is a stone’s throw from the nearest bus stop, secure cycle parking is also available.
