Authentic Self Confidence
In Person @ Buddha Land & Livestreamed Online
Saturday 8th May, 10am – 1pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)
Authentic self confidence comes from within and doesn’t depend upon what others think of us. In this meditation workshop we will learn to recognise and abandon negative states of mind that are the true causes of our suffering and problems.
We all want to feel good about ourselves but, not understanding our true potential, we often feel inadequate and lack self-confidence. Developing self confidence is a mental skill that we can all learn and strengthen over time using meditation. By using special methods taught by Buddha we can gain deep, unchanging happiness and confidence, regardless of what is happening externally.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with more experience of meditation.
You can attend this workshop in person at Buddha land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley or by online streaming.
The cost is £15 (£5 for Monthly Members).
This morning workshop will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, the Resident Teacher of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is also the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre. He is a Buddhist monk with over 20 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
