Heart Jewel, the Essential Practices
Drop-in Meditation Classes
Livestreamed Online
Tuesdays 7.30pm – 9pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)
In order to prepare our mind properly for meditation, we need to receive the powerful blessings from the Buddhas. In this weekly class Gen Kelsang Päljin will introduce the essential daily prayers that Kadampa Buddhists have been engaging in for centuries to improve their wisdom and compassion.
The practice of Heart Jewel connects us with Wisdom Buddha, Je Tsongkhapa and the Dharma Protector, Wisdom Buddha, Dorje Shugden. By reciting these prayers each day, our wisdom, compassion and spiritual power increases, our daily meditations become very powerful and we come under the protection of all Enlightened beings.
Gen Kelsang Päljin will explain the uncommon good qualities of Je Tsongkhapa, the founder of Kadampa Buddhism and how to make a deep connection with him through this practice. This is perfect for both beginners and advanced practitioners who want to know how to start a daily practice and how to engage in the daily group prayers or pujas.
Everyone is welcome.
