Basic Buddhist Meditations
Drop-in Meditation Classes
Livestream and Catch-Up
Mondays 5.45pm – 6.35pm
Learn the basics of Buddhist meditation and experience inner peace. Discover what meditation is, how to meditate successfully, and how to start a daily practice that brings lasting results.
Meditation is a method to make our mind peaceful and is also a means to familiarise ourself with positive states of mind and reduce negative mental habits. When our mind is free from mental discomfort, we experience true happiness.
In each class, we will learn practical meditations that we can reproduce ourself at home and that can be encouraged in our meditation practice.
We will discover the immense benefit to ourselves of developing and maintaining a daily meditation practice but also the benefit will be felt by others with whom we share our lives.
“When the turbulence of our distracting thought subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within.”
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
