Letting Go of the Past
Meditation Half Day Course
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Saturday 1 February, 2pm – 5pm
In-person & Livestream
Let go of the past and find freshness in each moment. By learning to embrace the impermanence of everything , we can live peacefully in accordance with change, rather than trying to resist it. Find out how in this practical course.
Buddha said that all produced things (whether material, body or mind) are impermanent, that is, they change moment by moment.
Through not being aware of or accepting this reality of things, we become attached to people and things, or to our way of life — wishing and expecting things to remain the same and last forever — and then become deeply disappointed when they do not. Making ourselves familiar with their impermanence enables us to be more realistic and frees us from a great deal of unnecessary suffering
This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost of the Meditation Workshop is £15 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).
Our monthly membership programme offers access to all our weekly classes as well as discounts on courses for only £20 per month – Learn more.
