My Extraordinary Life: Lamrim, Lojong and Mahamudra.
Day Course
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Sunday 4 May, 9.30am – 3.30pm
In-person & Livestream
Explore the value of a graduated spiritual path from an initial interest through to liberation and full enlightenment.
Generally when we first become interested in spiritual teachings we are mainly interested in overcoming the problems of today and the teachings and meditations we learn will help us to do this. As we continue to practice we realize that they can help on a far deeper level and if we wish we are then able to explore practices in greater depth. If the spiritual path we follow includes all the necessary elements it will be able to take us as far on that spiritual journey as we wish.
During this special day course Gen Päljin will explain a complete spiritual path that leads to the full enlightenement of Buddhahood. Ancient masters of Kadampa Buddhism explained three trainings called Lamrim (stages of the path to enlightenment), Lojong (training the mind) and Madhamudra. These are said to be the three unmistaken Dharmas. Learn about these three trainings and how you can use them to create an extraordinary internal life that allows you to transcend ordinary problems and find lasting inner peace for your own and others benefit.
