Saturday 16 October, 10am – 1pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)
Explore effective meditations and positive approaches to overcome stress & anxiety. Learn simple techniques that will allow you to reduce and abandon these unpeaceful minds.
With so much uncertainty in our worlds it is easy to become agitated. Anxiety, in particular, can become part of our daily experience. However, innovative methods exist for reducing its strength and power over us.
Buddha taught meditations for letting go of stress and anxiety, helping us to cope better in the moment and to make changes that can last our whole lives. During this course we will look particularly at the tendency to overthink and how we can step back from this finding greater peace in the moment.
Our workshops are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafes during the course.
The cost of the Workshop is £15 (GP Centre Card £5, FP member £0).
This course will be are taught by Carolyn Lowing, a student of the Foundation Programme at Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley.
