Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully accomplished Buddhist meditation master. Invited to teach in the West in 1977 he has worked tirelessly to spread Kadampa Buddhism throughout the world. Through his extensive teachings, profound books and dedication he has established over 1100 centres and groups worldwide.
Spiritual Directors
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the Spiritual Director of the NKT and the Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC, the Mother Center of Kadampa Buddhism and teaches at International and National Kadampa Festivals.
Gen-la Kelsang Jamapa is the elected Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, he teaches at National and International Kadampa Festivals.
Kadam Bridget Heyes is the UK National Spiritual Director of the NKT and Resident Teacher at Nagarjuna KMC in Kelmarsh, UK.
