We need to raise £5,000 to cover the costs of the newly installed central heating in our centre.
The new heating is making a huge difference. The centre is now warm and more comfortable; allowing everyone to focus more fully on the teachings and meditations during the classes and courses.
With your participation we can raise funds. The recently held Promise Auction, together with donations, has raised £1,300 so far. A great start to reaching our £5,000 fundraising target.
There are many excellent activities coming up where you can participate and give your support. Let us know if you would like to get involved.
SPONSORED WALK: Pendle Hill, Sunday , 8 July, 9am
A joint fundraising event raisings funds for both Keighley and Burnley Centres. The walk will leave the Barley Car Park and climb Pendle Hill, stopping at the summit to enjoy the beautiful views before descending via Oden Reservoir, woodland and back lanes before returning to Barley village.

As a target, we hope every walker can raise £50, but whatever sponsorship you can raise that’s a great help. If you are not able to join us on the day please sponsor one of the walkers if you can.
TABLE TOP SALE: Saturday 30 June, 10 am to 2pm
The loading bay doors will be open to sell our stock of donated items – books, clothing, glassware, pictures, furniture and lots more. Please come and browse. If you can volunteer to help please let us know.
CAR WASH: Saturday 30 June, 2pm onwards
In the loading bay. £10 clean inside and £20 for cleaning both inside and outside.
Bookings being taken. Please contact the centre to book. Kelly Swainston Clough is running the car wash but needs volunteers if you can help.
GUIDED WALK : Holcombe Hill, Sunday 15 July, 10.30am
Guided walk on the moors above Holcombe Village for around 2 to 3 hours finishing with refreshments in the Shoulder of Mutton pub in Holcombe village. Lots of Historical interest. £20 per person . Parking Lumb Carr Road and meet in Shoulder of Mutton car park. Debra Batchelor leading the walk. Please book.
VISIT TO MANJUSHRI CENTRE: Full Day, tba
Guided tour by Kelsang Paljin of Manjushri Kadampa Mediation Centre, Ulverston .
£20 per person including a packed lunch and refreshments at Manjushri. Car sharing being organised.
